Jonathon Heeley has been dancing for over 20 years. He started training with prestigious dance school on the Gold Coast, Paradise Performers Academy & Dance Technique under the direction of Peta Norton & Shannon Atkins. Jonathon has had years of experience in a number of different area's in the performing arts. At the age of 18 he trained & danced with the internationally renowned Raw Dance Company, Brisbane. Jonathon has also trained & danced in Sydney, with many leading institutes such as Brent St Studios, Village Performing Arts Centre, Nida & more. Jonathon has choreographed & artistic directed many different corporate & contracted events on the Gold Coast & around Australia. Jonathon has also worked with many of the industries leading choreographers and directors and looks forward to pass on these contacts to students who wish to make a career in dance. 

As well as his extensive dance background Jonathon has also worked in the technical production area in charge of venue lighting for a number of the countries biggest acts such as Guy Sebastian, Queensland Ballet, Celtic Thunder & more, as well as a number of touring show which has taken him around the country.


Jonathon has also gained a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Studio Management, Certificate IV in Live Theatre, Productions & Events & Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. He is also a certified teacher and has incorporated Hervey Bay Dance School into a Certified Studio with the Australian Dance Institute & RAW Dance Company. Jonathon has also opened Regional Queensland's first Performing Arts High School as a section of Hervey Bay Dance School and has trained and choreographed routines which have now received Bids to compete at the Australasian Dance Pinnacle in Melbourne.


Jonathon is also excited to be the creator & event manager for the Fraser Coast Dance Festival, North Queensland Dance Festival & The United Dance Project.


Jonathon looks forward to sharing all his knowledge of the entertainment industry with all the students of Hervey Bay Dance School & Hervey Bay Performing Arts College.

Jess Ann Louise began dancing at the young age of 3 quickly finding a strong passion for many dance styles including Tap (CSTD), Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet and Musical Theatre in Ipswich. Jess continues to expand her repertoire with the new additions of Hip Hip, House, Locking, Popping, Krump, Flamenco, Aerial & Salsa.


Jess studied a Diploma in Musical Theatre with Raw Dance Company training with Andrew Fee, Jack Chambers, Matt Browning, Nerida Matthaei, Alex Shelley & many more industry professionals.


Jess has performed with the Disney Live Touring Shows, Brisbane EKKA & a number of RAW Dance Company's corporate performances; Jess has also training with Michael Schwandt (USA) & Millennium Dance Company in Los Angeles.  Jess is currently studying her Bachelor of Secondary Education to compliment her dance teaching & performances.


Jess is really looking forward to working with all of the lovely students at Hervey Bay Dance School and looks forward to meeting you all really soon for a wonderful year ahead.
